1,二苯甲酮是紫外线吸收剂（吸收紫外线波长290-360纳米）和引发剂，有机颜料，医药，香料，杀虫剂的中间体
2,医药工业中用于生产双环乙哌啶，苯甲托品氢溴酸盐，苯海拉明盐等，也是苯乙烯聚合抑制剂和香料定香剂，能赋予香料以甜的气息，用在许多香水和皂用香精中。
3,化妆品工业中可用于防晒油/膏
